Medication Aide

Brookdale Overland Park is now hiring full-time and part-time Certified Medication Aides (CMAs).  All positions require every other weekend. $500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions only.

Openings Include:
Full-Time and Part-Time day shift: 7a-3p (includes every other weekend - $4/hr shift differential for Saturday/Sunday) 
Full-Time and Part-Time eve shift: 2p-10p (includes every other weekend - $4/hr shift differential)

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications. You will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
