Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 11, 2026

This policy covers the information CaregiverHires (caregiverhires.com) collects, the purposes we put it to and the options open to you.

The short version: caregivers, CNAs, home health aides, nurses and others looking for senior care work never need an account to search, and whatever they hand over during an application is sent straight to the hiring organization instead of to CaregiverHires.

Other than the standard server logs every site generates, the only personal data in our hands is supplied by employers who pay for job posts.

What we collect

  • Employers buying a listing: the details entered on the posting form: the agency, community, facility or company name, a contact person and their email address, plus the position (title, description, location, pay and the link for applying). We publish the position details, while the contact person and email are kept private and are never displayed on a post.
  • Payments: Stripe runs our checkout. Card numbers are entered in a form Stripe hosts and are never passed to CaregiverHires; what we receive is a notice that the charge succeeded along with the receipt information. For Stripe's data practices, see Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Job seekers: only the standard server data noted below. CaregiverHires has no caregiver accounts or profiles. Pressing Apply sends you to the hiring organization's own application page, which means your resume, certifications and responses reach that employer and not us.
  • Server data: like nearly every site, our hosting provider logs simple details for each visit, including IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep CaregiverHires protected and online.
  • Support emails: messages you email to us are saved so that we can respond and refer to earlier conversations.

How this information is used

  • Publishing and maintaining the caregiving job listings employers pay for.
  • Contacting employers about their listings, for example with receipts, reminders that a listing will soon expire, changes they requested and replies to their support inquiries.
  • Operating, protecting and improving CaregiverHires.
  • Complying with legal obligations, including keeping tax records.

Personal information is not sold by us, nor is it shared with outside parties for their own marketing to you.

Analytics and cookies

There are no ad trackers on CaregiverHires.

We might use privacy-focused analytics to understand broad trends, such as page views and the sites that refer traffic to us. That data is looked at only in aggregate and is never used to profile an individual visitor.

Our cookies are limited to those essential for the site to function, for example the ones Stripe places during checkout.

Service providers

CaregiverHires relies on a few outside vendors: Stripe processes payments, and other providers give us hosting and database storage.

Each of them uses the data solely for the purpose of serving CaregiverHires.

Live listings are also made available to search engines such as Google Jobs, which see only the public listing text and not the employer's private contact information.

Retention of records

We retain employer listing and payment records for as long as they are needed to operate the service and to meet legal and tax recordkeeping requirements.

Once a listing expires and comes down from CaregiverHires, its record can stay in our database.

You may request deletion of your information at any time by following the process described below.

Your privacy rights

Based on your location, the California Consumer Privacy Act, the EU/UK GDPR and similar laws may give you the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected] .

Once we have verified a request, we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Exercising any of these rights will not result in a penalty or discriminatory treatment by us.

Minors

CaregiverHires is intended for employers and for adult professionals in senior and home care.

The site is not directed at individuals younger than 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone below that age.
