Consumer Health Data Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 11, 2026

Washington's My Health My Data Act, together with similar laws in a number of other states, obliges businesses that collect “consumer health data” to make public a policy setting out what they do with it.

We publish this page to make clear that CaregiverHires collects no consumer health data whatsoever.

About CaregiverHires

CaregiverHires is a senior and home care job board that posts openings and career resources for caregivers, CNAs, home health aides, medication aides, home health and hospice nurses, and the administrators who run agencies and senior living communities.

Although these roles are in health care, CaregiverHires itself provides no medical care, in-home care or other health service, has no patient-facing features, and does not ask visitors about their health or medical history.

Our content is about caregiving careers; it does not collect or reflect anything about our readers' health.

CaregiverHires is neither a health care provider nor a health plan nor a health care clearinghouse, and the site does not process patient records or insurance claims data.

Data outside our collection

CaregiverHires does not collect, use, share or sell consumer health data, as that term is defined under Washington's My Health My Data Act and comparable state laws.

Specifically, we keep no information about:

  • a visitor's health conditions, diagnoses, treatments, medications or devices;
  • health services or procedures a visitor searched for or obtained;
  • biometric or genetic data;
  • precise geolocation that could show a visit to a clinic or other medical facility;
  • conclusions about anything listed above that are derived from how you useCaregiverHires.

Caregivers and other job seekers do not create accounts on CaregiverHires, and every application goes straight to the employer that posted the job.

Our Privacy Policy describes the limited information we actually hold, which is supplied by employers purchasing listings and recorded in standard server logs.

Future changes

If CaregiverHires were ever to start collecting consumer health data, we would revise this policy first and put any legally required notice and consent in place before any collection began.
