About the Role:
FirstLight Home Care of Guilford and Jacksonville, NC is seeking a compassionate male caregiver to join our dedicated team in Jacksonville, NC. If you have a passion for helping others and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutrition management.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Document and report changes in client conditions to the care team.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health metrics.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
