About Us:

Comfort Care Homecare Inc. is hiring a Private Duty Scheduler who is responsible for coordinating and managing the daily schedules of caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs), including all therapists, to ensure that all private duty patients receive timely and consistent care.

As a Home Health Private Duty Scheduler:

You are responsible for scheduling and Staffing Coordination.
Need to monitor schedules to prevent missed visits, uncovered shifts, and scheduling conflicts.
You are responsible for Caregiver and Staff Communication.
Need to communicate daily with caregivers regarding assigned shifts, schedules, and changes.
Respond professionally to scheduling inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Escalate patient care concerns, complaints, and service issues to the appropriate clinical or administrative supervisor.
Need to monitor caregiver attendance and ensure scheduled shifts are completed.
Protect confidential patient and employee information in accordance with HIPAA requirements and agency policies.

Qualifications:
Seeking to hire a Home Health Private Duty Scheduler. Someone energetic and professional, with strong communication skills and strategic scheduling ability.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
At least 1–2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, home health, private duty, home care, or staffing coordination preferred.
Knowledge of private duty home care operations and caregiver staffing requirements.
Experience scheduling HHAs, CNAs, RNs, and LPNs is highly preferred.
Familiarity with scheduling software, electronic medical records (EMR), and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent scheduling changes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented.
