Job Description

Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes throughout Jackson, Gallia, and Vinton Counties.

As a Home Health Aide, you will play an important role in helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining safely in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

• Provide assistance with transfers and ambulation as directed by the care plan.

• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate supervisor.

• Follow individualized plans of care and agency policies.

• Accurately document services provided.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing supervised, hands-on personal care.

• Reliable transportation to travel to and from client homes.

• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with providing personal care; lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.

• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality care.

Compensation

Starting Pay: $17.00 per Hour
