About the Role:

Nurse Galinas Caregiving of NJ is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our caring team in Hackensack, NJ. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing essential in-home support and personal care. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Provide mobility assistance and transfers to ensure client safety
Monitor and record client health status, reporting changes to supervising nurse
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
Administer medication reminders as directed by care plan
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
Prior experience in home care, personal care, or a related caregiving role preferred
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Hackensack, NJ area
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
Must pass background check and reference verification
