Job Summary:

At Upscale Home Care, we are dedicated to empowering veterans and seniors to thrive in the comfort of their own homes. As a Full-Time Veteran Companion, you will play a vital role in delivering bespoke care that elevates the quality of life for our clients. We are seeking a compassionate and professional individual to join our team and provide dignified support to veterans in their own homes in the Avondale AZ, 85323 area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one companionship and personal care to veterans, focusing on their unique needs and preferences

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with dignity and respect

• Engage in conversation, play games, watch movies, or participate in hobbies to promote socialization and mental stimulation

• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management as needed

• Develop a strong rapport with clients and their families to ensure total peace of mind

• Collaborate with our team of caregivers to ensure a seamless transition of care

• Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate effectively with the care coordination team

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience working with seniors or veterans in a caregiving capacity

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
