We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and visionary Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and help shape the future of our community at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center, located in Meadville, PA.

About the Role

As a Director of Nursing (DON) at Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on residents, staff, and the culture of our organization. Our ideal candidate will provide leadership, direction, and oversight of all nursing operations, ensuring exceptional resident care and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. You will also recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of all nursing operations

• Ensure exceptional resident care and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

• Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff while fostering a positive and accountable culture

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and quality measures

• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and clinical resources effectively

• Serve as a trusted leader for residents, families, physicians, and team members

Requirements

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania

• Previous Director of Nursing or senior nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and quality improvement processes

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
