Caregiver – Hands-On Patient Care Experience for Healthcare Students

Work one-on-one with older adults in their homes while developing valuable skills in patient care, communication, and supporting families. This is an opportunity to gain meaningful experience while making a real difference in someone's life.

Please note: Applicants must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for employment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a caregiver, you’ll help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include: 

• Medication reminders
• Assistance with mobility and walking
• Personal care and hygiene support
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Running errands or grocery shopping
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Observing and reporting changes in condition 

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who enjoy helping others and are interested in healthcare or human services.

Ideal candidates will have: 

• A caring, patient, and dependable attitude
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Reliable transportation (required)
• The ability to assist clients safely with daily activities
• Comfort around pets
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum age of 18

No previous caregiving experience is required! We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you learn and feel confident in your role.
